Known Issues
First off: We currently have to use a script
(provided by our radio stream host) for radioplays
sometimes causing conflicts with our website.
We are waiting for a promised new and improved version.
- General Information
Our permanent stream adress is:
http://listen.radionomy.com/radio-magico.m3u
If in any case a problem appear to happen with radioplay,
we recommend to try this stream adress in the first place.
Following are known issues with radio plays:
- I am asked to install Windows Media Plugin
The current implementation for radioplays
at the right top on the startsite
is asking for this.
It is a small addon for your browser and an easy and quick installation.
We hope the new and improved implementation for radioplays
does not need this in the future.
- Worst Case
During beta testings we observed total collapse of radioplay and site access.
After talks to our radio-stream host
we have been informed the host once in a while
is proceeding technical maintenance
and unfortunate causes a collapse of radioplay and site access,
because of implementation of their radioplayer.
The collapse of radioplay and site access appeared for a few minutes
and radioplay was silenced for around 30 min. after.
This is not in our hands at this stage of Radio Magico,
so all we can say is, so sorry, please be patient and try again.
- The music play of flash player hangs, is stottering or silenced
1. We found this issue when on older browsers.
Firefox below 3.5 for instance caused this.
Refreshing the browser and hit play again fixed it.
2. The cache of your browser is overloaded,
cleaning the cache and restart play wil fix it.
3. A workaround is to use one of the three buttons
at the buttom of the radioplayer,
represented by Winamp, Windows Media Player, iTunes.
- Constant repetition of 1 - 4 tracks
This sometimes happens when the script
for random plays simply hangs.
It went back to the programmed ratio of random plays after 20-30minutes.
This is not in our hands at this stage of Radio Magico,
so all we can say is, so sorry and please be patient.
