The owner and founder of Radio Magico, Omkar,
is a musician and composer himself,
with a native relationship to the musical content
and the respective artists and bands.
By looking into the situation of submitting
self produced music to radio stations,
it became evident,
there is no real understanding and support of genres
dealing with uplifting, calming, or soothing music.
And by looking into the fact there is a need for it,
(some may remember well accepted station Mystic Radio)
Radio Magico was founded.
Radio Magico supports times of rest and relaxation
and times of listening to inspiring, beautiful and uplifting music
across the genres ambient, world, chill-out, new age, downbeat, classic.
The radio program relates directly to day and night activities,
a short introduction into the concept of Radio Magico
to be found here.
Beside any genre, anything heart touching, gentle bracing,
soothing or calming (depends on daytime)
will find it`s place on Radio Magico.
The content will be suitable for
- private needs of rest and relaxation
- institutions working with health and wellness
- public spaces like restaurants and cafès searching for
a calm and inspiring atmosphere.
- therapeutic sessions like massage and healing
- work in general
Radio Magico will be funded by donations of users and listeners
and receives content by free submissions of artists and bands.
